Field to fork has been buzzing for years, it’s time for Batavia to set the table. Research suggests  Geneseans spend more than $20,000,000 outside Genesee County, NY to eat, drink and be entertained. Residents say they travel elsewhere to enjoy healthy food, seafood and ethnic flavors.   In order to tap this immense potential, local Restaurant Creativity Advocates conceptualized freshLAB restaurant incubator to encourage creativity, best practices and entrepreneurship for the food and beverage industry.

Ticketed guests may cast a ballot for the People’s Choice sweet or savory dish while a covert freshLAB Selection Committee ranks all of the Spirited Foodie samples earning an invitation to Boot Camp. Space is limited.

    Compete for FREE tuition to attend freshLAB Boot Camp, a restaurant specific series of classroom training taught by industry specialists providing two more juried tastings. A pre-requisite to be considered a candidate to open a micro-restaurant at freshLAB Spring 2018.

Try the 5-ingredient Sweet Potato Fritters…YUM. Sweet potatoes and eggs can be found regionally, healthy, too, right!?! Just what the area residents want!
